The TV Yellow isn't really yellow - the mahogany grain shows through a bit, so you get more of a pale ochre color. The smooth rosewood fingerboard and large frets made for easy fretting and bending, though you have to careful with fretting pressure as the large frets can deflect out of tune with too much pressure. The neck is chunky, but as someone who has put it in a bunch of time on a Martin acoustic over the last few years, I actually found the neck profile and relatively flat and wide fingerboard easier to transition to from the Martin than my longstanding No. I was actually surprised by how nice it sounded without being plugged in. It's relatively heavy, but as a result it puts out a nice and loud acoustic tone. Hard to say if it's worth the Gibson Custom Shop premium as a player guitar.
